1. Breathless Punta Cana: best overall for bachelorettes

If your group wants a party with polish, this is the one. Breathless is an adults-only (18+), all-suite resort in Uvero Alto whose social hub is the bi-level Freestyle pool, where DJs, games and themed events run through the day. Hyatt’s signature line-up includes a DJ Pool Party, a Black Light Neon Party, a Champagne Party and a Circus Burlesque show, and the lobby bar, Wink, turns into a dance floor after the evening show.

For groups, the selling points are the official Before I Do Bash bachelorette package (minimum two rooms for three nights each, with a reserved group dinner, a group photo shoot and welcome sparkling wine), suites with a king bed or two doubles, and free-flow access to the restaurants and bars of Dreams Onyx next door. 2. Riu Republica: best budget party resort

Riu Republica is the RIU built for a good time. The adults-only hotel on Arena Gorda grew to 1,382 rooms with a 2017 expansion and now has eight pools (three with swim-up bars), ten bars, eleven restaurants and its own Splash Water World water park reserved for its guests. The 24-hour all-inclusive keeps the drinks going, the hotel runs its own White and Neon themed parties twice a week and there is an on-site nightclub.

It also plugs into RIU’s wider party scene. According to a 2025 independent guide, Republica guests can attend the four weekly RIU Party events in the main RIU complex, with free shuttles for the afternoon parties; for the night parties you need a taxi, typically around US$15–20 each way. Two more group-friendly details: the hotel sells triple rooms and two-bedroom family rooms, and it is one of only five RIU hotels worldwide that accept student and spring break groups, strictly 21+ and on request.

3. Riu Palace Macao and the RIU complex: party nights, calmer days

Not every member of the group wants to be at a party resort 24/7. Riu Palace Macao is a calmer, fully renovated (2023) adults-only hotel whose 24-hour all-inclusive includes access to RIU Party, the complex’s themed events for guests 18 and over. The four themes are Jungle, White, Pink and Neon; in 2025 two ran as afternoon pool parties and two as night parties, with drinks included, and the venue is only a few minutes’ walk from the hotel.

That makes Macao a smart base for groups who want two or three big nights plus quiet mornings at a palm-lined beach. 4. Hard Rock Hotel & Casino Punta Cana: best for nightlife and casino

Hard Rock is the pick for bachelor groups who want a club and a casino under the same roof. Oro Nightclub opens Wednesday to Saturday from 11 pm to 4 am, is 18+, has 33 VIP tables and holds up to 1,000 people. Keep in mind that Oro sits outside the all-inclusive: drinks are charged, and while women get free entry on ladies’ nights, others should expect a cover. The casino has more than 435 slot and video poker machines, and gaming is extra too.

The big caveat is that Hard Rock is a mixed resort with a water park and plenty of families, so daytime pools are less of a party than at the adults-only picks. 5. Impressive Premium Punta Cana: best low-key base near Bávaro nightlife

Impressive Premium is not a party resort, and that is the point. It is a 255-room, all-ages resort on El Cortecito beach with an on-site disco, evening entertainment and Premium perks such as a private check-in lounge, priority restaurant reservations and late check-out until 1 pm when available. What it does better than the others is location: El Cortecito’s beach bars and shops are within walking distance, and Bávaro’s big clubs are a short taxi ride away. How to book a group trip: rooms, policies and packages
